Overview
During my work at Databundles, we developed an electricity price forecast for the next five days. To do this, we first developed a forecast that predicts the electricity generation and thus the share of the electricity mix from renewable energies, as this share is the biggest factor influencing the electricity price. This was achieved with the help of weather data from the German Weather Service stations at the ten largest wind and solar parks in Germany.
